Deye 15kW Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter – High-Capacity Solar & Battery Management
The Deye SUN-15K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 is a powerful 15kW three-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter designed for larger solar installations requiring substantial PV generation, battery storage and three-phase energy management.
The inverter supports 40–60V low-voltage batteries and is compatible with both lithium-ion and lead-acid battery technologies. The 15kW model provides up to 280A maximum charging and discharging current, with automatic BMS adaptation for compatible lithium-ion battery systems.
High Solar PV Capacity
The Deye 15kW provides substantial solar input capability, supporting up to 30kW maximum PV access power and 24kW maximum PV input power.
The inverter has 2 MPPT trackers, a maximum PV input voltage of 800V, an MPPT voltage range of 160–650V, and a rated PV input voltage of 550V.
This provides installers with flexibility when designing a larger solar PV array around the inverter.
Three-Phase Energy Management
With a 15kW rated AC output and three-phase operation, the inverter is designed for properties and installations requiring higher electrical capacity.
The system operates with 220/380V or 230/400V three-phase configurations and uses a 3L + N + PE grid connection.
The inverter also supports 100% unbalanced output, with maximum output of up to 50% of rated power on each phase, providing flexibility when loads are unevenly distributed between phases.
Battery Storage & Backup
The Deye 15kW uses a 40–60V low-voltage battery system and supports lithium-ion and lead-acid battery technologies.
With a maximum charging and discharging current of 280A, the inverter is designed to work with substantial compatible battery-storage configurations.
Multiple batteries can be connected in parallel, while the system also provides six programmable battery charging and discharging periods for flexible energy management.
AC Coupling & Parallel Operation
The inverter supports AC coupling, making it suitable for certain retrofit applications where an existing solar system is being expanded or integrated with additional battery-storage capacity.
Up to 10 compatible units can operate in parallel for suitable on-grid and off-grid applications, subject to correct system design and installation requirements.
The inverter can also support storing energy from a diesel generator, providing another option for appropriately designed hybrid energy systems.
